1. Who we are
This website and its associated mobile apps are operated by Premier Web Solutions Limited ("we", "us", "our"), a UK company registered in England and Wales. We are the controller of the personal data we collect through our website and apps. If you have any questions about this policy or how we handle your data, please contact us via the form on our Support page.
2. What data we collect
We keep data collection to a minimum. Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:
- Contact form data: your name, email address and message content when you get in touch.
- App account data: for our mobile apps, any information you provide when creating an account (such as email address) and any content you choose to submit to the app.
- Technical & analytics data: if you accept analytics cookies, we use Google Analytics 4 (provided by Google) to collect usage information such as pages visited, approximate location derived from your IP address, and browser and device type, to understand how our site is used.
- Cookies: essential cookies needed for the site to function are always set. Optional Google Analytics cookies are set only after you accept them on the cookie banner — nothing analytics-related is stored until you do. Our hosting provider may also set its own strictly necessary cookies to serve and secure the site.
3. Why we use your data
We use your personal data to:
- Respond to enquiries you send us through the contact form.
- Provide, maintain and improve our software products, including our mobile apps distributed through the App Store and Google Play.
- Provide and improve our software products used by accountancy-sector clients.
- Meet our legal, tax and regulatory obligations.
4. Legal basis (UK GDPR)
We rely on one or more of the following lawful bases: your consent (for optional analytics or marketing), performance of a contract (to deliver services you've engaged us for), legitimate interests (to operate and secure our site and apps) and legal obligation (to comply with UK law).
5. How long we keep it
We keep personal data only for as long as we need it for the purpose it was collected. Contact form enquiries are typically kept for up to 24 months. Client records held under our accountancy service are retained in line with HMRC and Companies House requirements (generally six years).
6. Sharing your data
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with trusted processors that help us run our website, apps and services — for example email delivery, hosting, analytics (Google Analytics 4), accounting software and payment processing. Where we use Google Analytics, Google acts as our processor and is based in the United States, so some data may be transferred there under the safeguards Google provides for international transfers. We share data only where required to deliver the service you've requested or to comply with law.
7. Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, restrict or object to our processing, and request a copy in a portable format. To exercise any of these rights, contact us via the Support page. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date above.
